WHAT IS AN ESSENTIAL OIL?

Why Pure or so called Pure Oils?
Pure/pure oils are essential. (Hence, essential oils are also often referred to as essential oils. But this creates confusion because the bulk of oils on the market contain only 5% pure oil. For me the reason I stick to the old term, from before the development of pharmaceutical science, and continue to speak in Dutch of etherische oli:en or in German af ätherische öle, thus essential).
Essential oils are only truly effective when they are pure and without synthetic additives. This is why I work exclusively with 100% pure dōTERRA oils. Non-pure oils can contain harmful substances that can cause allergic reactions or even be harmful to your health. Moreover, they lose much of their working power, limiting the benefits.
What can impure oils do?
Oils that are not pure can do the opposite of what you would like to achieve. Instead of calming you, they can make you irritable, or instead of relaxing you, they can irritate your skin. That's why it's so important to choose pure, reliable oils.
